The Marine Technology Society Journal has granted permission for the NOAA Coastal Services Center to offer free downloads of its two most recent issues. The special double issue of the MTS Journal entitled “Stemming the Tide of Coastal Disasters” presents scientific and policy insights into the causes and physical, social, and economic impacts of coastal inundation. Edited by NOAA’s Margaret Davidson and Ocean.US’s Thomas C. Malone, “Stemming the Tide of Coastal Disasters” introduces policymakers and others to the growing convergence of more frequent and severe coastal inundation events and the escalating public and private costs of living on the coast.
