Survival Skills for Coastal Resource Managers

Are you a coastal resources professional who knows the resources but struggles with the people part of the equation? This on-line course is designed for you!

Survival Skills for Managing Coastal Resources provides practical information and teaches new skills to the members of your organization. This Web-based course includes:

  • Coastal Management Framework: the different roles and responsibilities of coastal resources management individuals, organizations, and legislation
    (approximately 3 hrs on-line instruction)
  • Collaborative Processes: designing and managing productive stakeholder meetings
    (approximately 2 hrs on-line instruction)
  • Information Survival Skills: finding, assessing, and managing information
    (approximately 2 hrs on-line instruction)
